                       Lago Film Fest
To be part of a little magic: a dream that comes true at Lago Film Fest. During a night with a starry sky, with the croaking of the frogs and the weak light of the candles, the people open their own houses and go down to the lake with a chair in their hands: a little magic… it is the magic of cinema, it is still alive and strong as one century ago, it is able to transport the spectators far away, in distant places and worlds. It is an invitation to follow your dreams and draw away from the frenzy of daily life to reach a long thought lost dimension which on the contrary is right here, round the corner when you least expect it.
The landscape and the Lago community are the makers of that little miracle: the backstage of the festival is made out of houses , the human warmth and hospitality; the stories on the screen and those of the people meet and mirror each other for a week. The showing escapes the common concept of cinema and becomes courtyards and lake shore, where the screen stands out of the waters. This value added by the perfect union between natural and anthropic elements makes the festival unique in the scenery of the summer. [Web site]

MGM Office main sponsor of the LFF 2007
An important encounter. A step to the future. The Lucania Film Festival has met a new valuable fellow traveller. It’s the MGM Office of the Mutinati Group, a lucanian company leader in the production and selling of office furniture. Creativity at the professionalism disposal, these are the persuasive topics of the company, but also the features that make it an ideal partner of the LFF. Pushing its roots in an only apparently immobile territory such as that of Lucania, the MGM Office, is able to catch in a perfect way, supporting it in concrete terms, the essence of an event that tries to awake and strengthen the value of a regional identity that sometimes appear to be a bit faded, also through the modern languages of the audiovisual communication.                        Partner: Lucanian Nurserymen Consortium
The Lucanian Nurserymen Consortium, placed in Scanzano Jonico, becomes a partner of the Lucania Film Festival. Our attention to the natural environment and their professionalism meet together to decorate the urban halls of the festival in the historic centre of Pisticci. The set of the spaces dedicated to the showings will be made up of fragrant fruit trees (mandarine, orange, lemon, olive…), so that the film showings will become a complete sense experience.                        Partner: The Lucano Magazine
Born in 2003 by the initiative of an enterprising group of young people, the “Lucano Magazine”, directed by Maddalena Salvia and published by the Lucana Editoriale S.r.l., represents in the regional journalistic survey, one of the main monthly magazine of news and close examination of the territory. A benchmark and a meeting point, but also an important window for the numerous and sometimes unknown little towns of the lucanian hinterland. Sections that deal with different topics – from recent events to politics, from sport to culture – make the “Lucano Magazine” a 360° journal, fresh and exhaustive, completely plunged into the life of such a little but strongly varied reality.                        Partner: Arcoiris
Arcoiris is a television channel accessed free of charge from the Internet. It differs from a traditional TV channel in that the viewer can decide what to watch at any time, without being bound to programming times. The titles on offer are constantly updated and consist of videos that we film directly and also those filmed by outside contributors. Viewing Arcoiris TV is very simple - just enter the Website, search for a video among the categories present and choose the type of connection to suit your modem (ADSL for wideband connections, 56K for analogue modems). Viewing starts immediately, without a waiting time, as the current video file players (Real Player and Windows Media Player) allow the use of "streaming" technology. If you don't have a suitable player on your computer, you can download it from our homepage with a few "clicks" and free of charge. Alternatively, you can also download the .mp3 version (for those who want audio only) and the High Resolution version (for creating DVDs, VHSs or television rebroadcasting). We also have a newsletter service that we use to inform subscribers of new videos available or to provide them with what we think is useful and entertaining. [Web site]

                       Partner: AXX Festival (Lithuania)
None of the contemporary art form ( film, theatre, music, etc) is possible without a festival space. It attracts more people, makes the one-time event a long lasting celebration for viewers and creators. Spectators can participate in the meetings with directors, actors. Other forms of art can also ‘blend in’ the festival. Exhibitions, concerts with the same theme may be part of the festival. [Web site]
