Manuela Buono

Manuela Bruno (Italy) è nata a Trieste dove tuttora vive e lavora. Nel 2013 fonda Slingshot Films agenzia di vendita internazionale specializzata in cinema art-house e documentari d’autore. Si è occupata di produzione cinematografica, televisiva, e ha lavorato per diversi festival per oltre dieci anni. Dal 2013 al 2016 è stata membro del comitato di selezione del Festival dei Popoli (Firenze) ed è consulente per diversi mercati cinematografici internazionali. Ha conseguito un Master in European Audiovisual Management presso Media Business School (Mega Plus 2010), la borsa di studio Nipkow nel 2011 ed  è stat selezionata al Berlinale Talent – Distribution Studio nel 2014. Nel 2016 ha partecipato al workshop di sviluppo Biennale College con il progetto “Lala”, prodotto da Transmedia s.r.l. Attualmente sta producendo il documentario di Alberto Diana, Fango Rosso, girato in Sardegna.

Manuela Bruno (Italy) was born in Trieste where she currently lives and works. In 2013 she set up Slingshot Films, an international selling agency, specialized in art-house cinema and copyright documentaries. She has dealt with cinematographic and television production and has worked for several festivals for more than ten years. From 2013 to 2016 she has been a member of selection committee for the Festival dei Popoli in Florence and she is a consultant for various international cinematographic markets. She has accomplished a Master in European Audiovisual Management  at Media Business School (Mega Plus 2010), the Nipkow Scholarship in 2011 and has been selected at Berlinale Talent – Distribution Studio in 2014. In 2016 she attended the developement workshop Biennale College with the project “Lala”, produced by Transmedia s.r.l. At the moment, she is producing the documentary by Alberto Diana, Fango Rosso (Red Mud), shot in Sardinia.
