The film tells the story of three generations of women, each of them deeply marked. Their lives, between past, present and future, intertwine to form a choral story offering the viewer many points for reflection. The film ‘Marghe and her mother’ was made in Italy, but her story is universal as it could happen to any of us and in any part of the world. A fluid state of modernity has led to a loss of values, of fundamental human rights, and above all to the loss of identity in escaping the fear of tomorrow. Having a safe and stable job, a deep friendship and a true love are indispensable for human dignity.
