Synopsis:
Il documentario mira a salvaguardare il patrimonio poetico e le tradizionali canzoni “ElGannia” dei trovatori e degli aedi locali, in particolare nelle regioni del Sahel tunisino. Al centro della panoplia di questo patrimonio poetico orale, l’accento sarà posto in particolare sul poeta “ElAdib” Mohamed Kheder Jedira, una figura di spicco tra il pubblico tunisino degli anni ’30 del secolo scorso. Se in questo documentario la figura femminile è assente dalla cornice, essa è invece il soggetto centrale, nevralgico e ossessivo di queste canzoni liriche.
The documentary aims to safeguard the poetic heritage and the traditional “ElGannia” songs of local troubadours and aedes, especially in the regions of the Tunisian Sahel. At the heart of the panoply of this oral poetic heritage, the accent will be particularly focused on the poet and “ElAdib” Mohamed Kheder Jedira, a figurehead among the general Tunisian public of the thirties of the last century. If in this documentary, the female figure is absent from the frame, she is on the other hand the central, neuralgic, obsessive subject of these lyrical songs.

Protagonisti di questo “dipinto” persone comuni, giovani e meno giovani, operatori sanitari e forze dell’ordine, politici ed esperti, colti nei momenti più veri, umani ed esplicativi, non solo in Italia ma in tutto il mondo. Le parole sono quelle che più di altre hanno caratterizzato questi lunghi giorni di prigionia, di paura e confusione, di solidarietà e rabbia sociale, di trionfi e sconfitte, nella speranza di arrivare a “erreconzero”, quando il rischio di contaminazione sarà scongiurato.
The protagonists of this “painting” are ordinary people, young and old, healthcare workers and law enforcement, politicians and experts, captured in their most genuine, human, and explanatory moments, not only in Italy but all over the world. The words are the ones that, more than others, have characterized these long days of imprisonment, fear, and confusion, of solidarity and social anger, of triumphs and defeats, in the hope of reaching “zero Covid,” when the risk of contamination will be averted.

Dal cuore della povertà, rovine e miseria di Castel Volturno, una piccola città vicino Napoli, nacque un sogno: TamTam, una squadra locale di basket composta interamente da giovani provenienti da famiglie migranti. Il sogno si scontra con “lo scoglio” delle leggi nazionali e di classe. I problemi, ma anche la squadra, vanno avanti e il sogno aspetta ancora la sua realizzazione e vittoria.
From the heart of poverty, ruins, and misery of Castel Volturno, a small town near Naples, a dream was born: TamTam, a local basketball team made up entirely of young people from migrant families. The dream clashes with the “rock” of national and class laws. The problems, but also the team, go on, and the dream is still waiting for its realization and victory.
