Irene Dionisio

Irene Dionisio (Italy) è nata nel 1986. Laureata in filosofia estetica e sociale all’Università di Torino, ha frequentato il Master in documentarismo diretto da Daniele Segre e Marco Bellocchio, e il Master IED diretto da Alina Marazzi. Attraverso l’associazione Fluxlab, di cui è socia fondatrice, cura progetti culturali e artistici su tematiche quali l’integrazione, le politiche culturali e le questioni di genere. La sua produzione artistica include videoinstallazioni e documentari, fra cui Sponde. Nel sicuro sole del nord (2015) e La fabbrica è piena. Tragicommedia in otto atti (2011). Le ultime cose (2016) è il suo primo lungometraggio di finzione.

Irene Dionisio (Italy) was born in 1986.  She has a degree in aesthetical and social philosophy from Torino University, has attended the Master’s course of Documentarism headed by Daniele Segre and Marco Bellocchio, and the IED Master headed by Alina Marazzi. Along with the association Fluxlab, of which she is a founder, she manages cultural and artistic projects on areas like integration, cultural politics and gender questions.  Her artistic production includes video installations and documentaries such as Sponde [Shores], Nel sicuro sole del Nord (in the safe sun of the North) [2015] and La fabbrica è piena. Tragicommedia in otto atti (the factory is full. An eight acts tragicomedy). Le ultime cose [2016] (The Last Things) is her first fiction feature film.
