Reneè Beaulieu

Reneè Beaulieu (Canada). Laureata all’INIS (Istituto del Quebec per l’immagine e il suono) con un master in letteratura del Quebec, un dottorato in studi cinematografici all’Università Laval e una laurea in farmacia (BPharm) dell’Università di Montreal, Renèe Beaulieu ha scritto, sviluppato e prodotto molti cortometraggi che sono stati proiettati nei festivals e scritto show per la tv dell’infanzia e alcune docufiction. Ha anche scritto e diretto l’opera La Fin des contes pour enfant (2012, 2014) e pubblicato piccole storie e poesie. Insegna  sceneggiatura e produzione cinematografica all’università di Montreal e lavora come sceneggiatrisce nel 2015, Renée ha scritto Le Garagiste [Adrien], il suo primo lungometraggio come regista; che ha anche montato e coprodotto con Ian Quenneville and Ian Oliveri. Il film è stato proiettato in diversi festival e ha vinto alcuni premi internazionali. nel 2007, ha scritto la sceneggiatura per il lungometraggio Le Ring [La Lotta], che è stato proiettato in festival tra cui quello di Berlino, in Germania, e Busan, in Corea del Sud e ha ottenuto diversi premi internazionali.

Reneè Beaulieu (Canada). A graduate of INIS [Quebec institute of image and sound], with a master’s degree in Quebec literature, a doctorate in film studies from Université Laval and a pharmacy degree (BPharm) from the Université de Montréal, Renée Beaulieu has written, developed and produced many shorts that have been shown at festivals, and written for children’s television shows and some docufiction. She also wrote and directed the play La Fin des contes pour enfant (2012, 2014) and has published short stories and poetry. She teaches screenwriting and film production at the Université de Montréal and serves as a film script doctor.  In 2015, Renée wrote Le Garagiste [Adrien], there is her first feature-length film as a director; she also edited it, and coproduced with Ian Quenneville and Ian Oliveri. The film was shown at a number of festivals and won several international awards. In 2007, she wrote the script for the feature-length film Le Ring [The Fight], which was shown at a number of festivals, including those in Berlin, Germany, and Busan, South Korea, and garnered several international awards.
