Sinossi / Synopsis
All’alba, Santiago si sveglia nudo e dopo essere stato picchiato nel mezzo del deserto. Il giovane è molto confuso e fa ritorno a casa di suo padre. Nei campi, la sua famiglia sta soffrendo una grossa siccità. Suo padre Ernesto lo riceve puntandogli la pistola contro, mentre il suo cane Arón lo protegge ponendosi minacciosamente tra lui e il padre. Ernesto decide, contrariamente alle volontà del figlio di sacrificare il cane di famiglia che è diventato selvaggio. Arón, il cane sacrificato, emerge dalla sua tomba e il suo fantasma minaccia la sanità mentale di Ernesto e scuote le fondamenta della famiglia, rimanendo alla mercé dei suoi impulsi selvaggi.

At dawn, Santiago wakes up naked and beaten in the middle of the desert. The young man stands very confused and goes back to his father’s house. In the field, his family is suffering a great drought. His father Ernesto receives him at gunpoint, while his dog Arón protects him threateningly between his father and him. Ernesto decides, against his son’s will, to sacrifice the family’s dog that has become wild. Arón, the sacrificed dog, emerges from its grave and its phantasmagoric apparitions threaten Ernesto’s sanity and shake the family’s foundations, remaining at the mercy of his wild impulses.

JULIETA LEDESMA
Biografia / Biography:
Julieta Ledesma e una progettista di immagine e suono, laureata presso l’Università di Buenos Aires. Sta attualmente frequentando un Master in Recitazione presso l’Università Nazionale di Arte. Come insegnante specializzata in sceneggiatura, ha insegnato presso il corso per Progettisti Audio Video presso il Centro Studi di Comunicazione di Buenos Aires e alla Scuola Internazionale di Cinema e Televisione di San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. Attualmente, fa parte dell’IRUPE CINE presso il quale sviluppa progetti cinematografici.

Julieta Ledesma is an Image and Sound Designer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Drama at the National Art University Institute. As a teacher specialized in scripts, she has taught at the Image and Sound Design Career at the University of Buenos Aires, at the Buenos Aires Communication study center and at the International School of Cinema and Television in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. Nowadays she is part of IRUPE CINE where she develops feature films projects.
