These three men strive to provide for their extended family while imagining Cuba as a place where they can be masters of their own destiny. As Brian confronts his two role models—identical twins, yet completely different men—to understand what it will mean for him to become the next head of the family, Cuba itself reinvents itself, caught between a new law opening the country to private enterprises and the largest migratory crisis in the island’s history.
