Synopsis:
La vita di Eva, diciassettenne, è noiosa e priva di interesse. Durante le vacanze estive, trova un lavoro in una gelateria, sperando di farsi degli amici o incontrare un ragazzo carino. Ma l’estate sta finendo e nulla è successo. In uno degli ultimi giorni di agosto, entra nel locale Alexander Voronov, un tempo cantante pop famoso ma ormai dimenticato. È di cattivo umore e se la prende con una giovane cameriera. Offesa, Eva corre nel cortile del caffè. Cerca di raggiungerlo per restituirgli il resto del conto. Urla… Si crea una situazione assurda, e la folla radunata, sentendo le urla, conclude che Alexander abbia tentato di violentarla. Ed Eva non lo nega. Da lì, il groviglio di bugie comincia ad avvolgersi…

The life of 17-year-old Eva is boring and uninteresting. During the summer holidays, Eva gets a job at an ice cream parlor, hoping to make friends or meet a cute guy. But summer is ending and nothing has happened to her. On one of the last days of August, the once-famous, but long-forgotten pop singer Alexander Voronov comes into the cafe. He is in a bad mood and takes it out on a young waitress. Offended, Eva runs into the courtyard of the cafe. She tries to catch up with him to get the change for the bill. She screams… An absurd situation arises, in which the crowd gathered to shout, concludes that Alexander tried to rape her. And Eve doesn’t deny it. The tangle of lies begins to twist…

Spaventata, Eva fugge e nessuno scopre la dinamica dell’incidente, nemmeno Bruno, un francese di 45 anni, marito della vittima. Sconvolta dal senso di colpa, Eva inizia a frequentare Bruno, nascondendogli la sua vera identità, in una relazione che li porterà a liberarsi dalla propria sofferenza.

Eva is 19 years old and lives in a small town. One night she causes an accident in which a woman loses her life. Eva, terrified, runs away and no one learns of the dynamics of the accident, not even Bruno, a 45-year-old French man who is the victim’s husband. Overcome with guilt, Eva begins to date Bruno while hiding her true identity from him, in a relationship that will lead them to free themselves from their suffering.
